It's always busy here but somehow you still always manage to get served in a to.ely manner! The food is great and at a great price, you can also do some Jamon shopping. Love the busy buzzy atmosphere!!

We went here for a lunch and a dinner, they were wonderful, great food, heavy on ham, Iberico, Great atmosphere and fun. Not quite as expensive as a restaurant but very relaxed.

This visit should be on everyones list when visiting Madrid. Enjoyed different kinds of ham and the beer is really cheap. Yes, it is a busy place but for us it was very interesting. The food was very good and nobody rushes you, take your time...More

For bread, ham and cheese. Don’t get me wrong they do much more than this. It seems to be an institution for the madrillios. Who seem to come, a lot. We loved it. Come early or expect to wait. Come hungry. Enjoy.

Ham is the specialty here, but they also have an extensive menu. It’s very popular and consequently crowded. You can sit at a table or perch on a stool and eat at the counter. Lots of ambiance and very good value.

Jamon was ok but crowd was amazing. What was a problem was the staff did not clean the standing tablets, so customers were expected to stack the previous diner’s plates or there was no place to eat.

A lot of locales and tourist eat here. Dont expect top rated customer service as the place is super crowded. However its really good value for money. We had 2 drinks and 1 plate of cold cut ham for only eur3.90. Its a fun experience...More

Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music
venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair,
narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the
center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends
outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents,
and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on
the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as
many other parts of the city, but this only adds to
