This has become our go-to place for pizza when we want a few slices. Every time I go back, I'm worried I'll find out I've inflated it in my mind... only to come away as happy as when I entered. Just an amazing overall quality of pizza.

You can take away or sit at the back where there are lots of Spanish books for sale. The staff are all friendly and speak English. The pizzas we had were all great as was the lasagne. We went three times in five days so obviously we liked it!

Pizza and salad were delicious. There was a large variety of pizzas to select. We chose the 'degustacion' option with three choices. We had to come back on another occasion.

Service was v v slow. Pizza base was lovely. Toppings a little odd. Drinks - when they eventually arrived were good and cheap. Cafe is an add on to busy takeaway.

I went here after finding it on trip advisor. I was greeted by a very friendly staff member who explained all my pizza choices! I got two pieces, a salami one and one with goats cheese, tomato and balsamic on it. Both were amazing, ingredients were fresh, some of the best pizza I have ever had! I got two large... More

For the past 8 years I've been struggling to find a place in Madrid where I could have: A Pizza. There are very few Italian restaurants in the city and I consider none of them have managed to make a decent Pizza. I finally found the place for Pizzas in Madrid and that is La Pizzateca. Perfect combination: great product... More

They have a large selection of house-made and delicious pizzas. The wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. We loved their rucolona pizza in particular. This is the place to go if you are looking for a good pizza.

I went with a friend here on a Saturday night and had a pleasant dinner experience. We both ordered the lasagne & a large margarita pizza which was tasty and satisfying. Overall great service & small yet nice intimate area to dine with friends. Will come back again real soon :)

Staying in Huertas

Neighbourhood Profile
Huertas
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighbourhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center — side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighbourhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.
