I had dinner there with friends twice and the service was great... we arrived late as a big group and they still served us everything! The food is good but overpriced.. the area is perfect though and the design of the Taberna is also really...More

While walking through Madrid we stumbled across this lovely little pub. We sat outside and had two sangrias £5 approx. each and were given olives and crisps as we enjoyed out rest. We actually had another two after that as we enjoyed the rest and...More

2 G&Ts , a Bacardi & coke & whisky & ginger ale €42. Not the cheapest bar in Madrid. Service was fine but nothing spectacular. Think they trade on their name but it’s not that old a place. You will find far better elsewhere.

This is a very old style bar with gleaming wood wainscotting and ceilings and an overhead chandelier in the kitchen. The olives with the drinks were great.

I only stopped for a drink and a bocadillo de jamon iberico, which was really good but pricey, Location is good for people watching specially outside.

We visited this taverna initially as part of a food tour, but went back every day :) Although centrally located, this is a local establishment (not a chain), where you can get various tapas (although not extensive, what you do get is very tasty) and...More

Don't stop....horrible food and service. Too pricy for what you get. Presentation is what you can get at a picnic. Simple and fattening. No great taste. Keep moving!!!!
