I arrived on a Saturday at around 10:30am and was lucky to get a table. I had to wait a fair bit until I could order (at least the waitress apologized). The cafe is really cozy and has a nice atmosphere. The toast with avocado...More

On my walk around Madrid I came across this beautiful looking little place and since the time of the day was ideal for a quick bite I decided to go in. The menu was short, but I always prefer places with less items on the...More

I loved everything about El Azul, fresh food and a great ambiance. I like it is tucked away from the Main Street. It is quiet and let me just say it is simply perfect. I will go back again and again.

Came here for lunch and had a great lunch at a good price in a cozy place. Yes I had to wait for the table but it was ok. Had a vermouth while waiting. Will definitely come back!

We went here for lunch and had an amazing experience. They have a set menu with a few vegetarian and a few non-vegetarian options. The deal was €9,50 for 3 courses. The portions are not large, but that’s fine, since we’re watching the calorie intake...More

We arrived in Madrid late and in the rain. This place was close to our hotel near Atocha station. It was lovely. The service was great and the food was good. We only had tea and light snacks but it was just what we needed.

Popped into this friendly little neighbourhood cafe for lunch before leaving for the airport. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful, keen to explain the menu in English. There's a really good range of dishes, I went for a mozzarella and tomato toasted...More

Wonderful place to have a good coffee at midday in the cozy Barrio de las Letras. It is about location. It is about bean's quality.

We just had a wonderfully tasty vegetarian meal there. Our vegan friend was thrilled. Out of friend who cannot imagine not eating meat thoroughly enjoyed a veggie meal. (It should be noted that the menu includes both veggie and meat options)

Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once
home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de
Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The
neighbourhood is committed to celebrating its rich
heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes
from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to
them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas
receives a fair amount of spillover from the center —
