One of the best tapas... original... authentic... A joy to taste. Typical local and original taberna. A place were the locals come.

My wife and I got horrible service elsewhere and came here frustrated and disappointed. Our feelings were quickly turned around with friendly, warm service. The waiter didn’t care that we didn’t speak Spanish well. He helped us out and made recommendations on what to get....More

I come Minimum once a year to Madrid and I always come back to this place. It serves fresh beer and very good canapés with salmon, tuna, boquerones (anchovies made with vinegar, olive oil and garlic etc.). My favorites are the tuna and the salmon...More

Small place with a fairly limited menu. Service was OK, food was good. They have an English version of the menu. We had nice plates of sliced meats and cheeses with bread. The bar area got very busy with locals and the waiters stayed behind...More

we went for beer and tapas on the way to a meal. The décor is eclectic and quirky. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and, considering it was a midweek raining evening, it was buzzing. really enjoyed the whole experience.recoomended

This is a classic taberna - limited seating, excellent small dishes (fish, seafood, jabon, olives, crusty bread) good beer/wine slection. The atmosphere is loud and lively. Come out, stand by the bar and have a few nibbles. Great spot!

Great Taberna to go to for a little drink (beer or wine) and bite. Perfect after visiting the museums nearby. Go there and experience the typical Spanish way of living and eating in the afternoon. Lively atmosphere!

It has taken me a few times to Spain to get the feel of how to behave, order and what the expect. This is classic Madrid no nonsense bar. I didn’t find the staff particularly rude, they are just efficient but lacking in skills dealing...More
