We visited Melo's last night and had a great meal. Really enjoyed the sandwich and croquettes. The best part though was the incredibly friendly staff. There was a huge line and crowd in the restaurant but that didn't impact their mood poorly at all! The...More

We arrived just before 9 pm and this place was already getting crowded. We ordered the morcilla, zapatilla, and croquetas, and we were not disappointed! It's great for a casual meal and typical Spanish experience. Also, it was very reasonably priced for all of the...More

Popped in late night for the famous zappatilla and was not disappointed. It's a beast and was probably the best €7 I spent in Madrid. Will be back again in 2 weeks

This place knows what it does best and does it well. They have a small menu but the food is great. The croquetas were delicious and the zapatillas are enormous.

Small and crowded place with a lot of local people. I ate half Zapatilla and couldn't it more for about two days! And it was delicious!

I started with a Jamon croquette which was good. It was a mistake as I then tried their famous Zapatilla sandwich ham and cheese sandwich with big chunks of ham. Even the half order is larger than any full sandwich I'd order anywhere else. And...More
