Casa Lucio is a very nice traditional restaurant located in the middle of the city. The food was absolutely amazing. I recommend the gambas al ajillo. Opened in 1974, the restaurant had a lot of political and social figures as guests. It's pretty crowded and...More

A maze of tables on two floors packed with Spanish and overseas guests who have either been recommended or are repeat visitors. Expect simple Spanish staples including chips 'n egg served to mix and share. Oxtail, grilled fish and pork escalope are served as individual...More

Casa Lucio is a true gem. Every part of this restaurant is perfect. I had the opportunity to try a couple of the appetizers. Each one was better than the last. The famous broken eggs are amazing. As I ate them I kept telling myself...More

For the fame and reputation of the Casa Lucio Bar for huevos rotos, this was a disappointment. Not all of the potatoes were completely cooked and a second pincho was not served with the second caña. The server was rude and less attentive to my...More

We booked this restaurant in advance, which was just as well as it was packed. Used mainly by Spaniards, which is always a good indication of quality and value. We tried one of the specialities of the house, Judias con Faison, which was delicious.Good service...More

A bigger tourist trap than Boltin and the food ain't as good. Go in and have a snack at the bar as unlike everything else the wines by the glass are reasonably priced.

La Latina
La Latina is a charming neighbourhood with two unique
personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly
old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among
charming stone buildings in sunny, bright colors like
yellow and pink. The other side of La Latina is
characterized by a young population and a bohemian
vibe, as evidenced by a dynamic and evolving selection
of new bars, shops, coworking spaces, and other

The portion is very generous indeed. You have a big bread awaiting you on the table and the dishes are served with fries (thin ones - so delicious we ordered another portion!) Enjoy it! You will not regret for sure!
