The restaurant is fantastic. Soup is very taste, we have tried pumpkin soup and we loved it. The other dish was very good as well. Service was very polite and friendly but I asked to have both dishes at the same time and they didn't. Decoration and atmosphere was lovely too. I recommend it!

We were again in Madrid for a four night break to celebrate my husband's 'significant' birthday and our first choice for lunch was Al Natural. The menu was as varied, interesting and tasty as ever - perhaps even moreso - and the price for the 'menu of the day' is incredible value. We compared it with a menu outside another... More

The food is okay, tasty and fresh. But the waiter tried to short change me by 5 euro. He even brought a calculator out to prove to me I was wrong. Very disappointing.

Slightly difficult to find in back street. Pleasant atmosphere but rather hot. Food ok but not very special. Service ok. Not really memorable.

My family and I went to this restaurant with our friend who hadn't ever had a completely vegetarian meal. The menu had a wide variety of yummy choices. My particular dish was satisfactory (I think it was a crepe?), I would suggest a salad or a pasta. Overall though, the food was good and our waitress was very nice.

My husband and I came here for an evening meal whilst we were in Madrid for our anniversary. I was a bit concerned that this place was a bit casual but it was lovely: perfect for informal or more formal occasions. The food was delicious and staff were very attentive. It was really nice to have such a range of... More

First time in Madrid & we were very pleased to find a vegetarian restaurant. We had the set lunch menu - 3 courses, plus a drink each for €12.90 a head - who can argue with that? Quaint traditional surroundings, very Spanish decor. Our Spanish is woeful but luckily the friendly staff were able to speak some English & translate... More

Albeit the uninspiring decor, this place served very inspiring vegetarian food. I had the "Eggplant pie", which is a dish somewhere between a pie and a souffle, and that had a wonderful flavor and texture. I also had the chance to try the "Mushroom risotto", which was very, very tasty; the "Spinach and avocado salad", which was nicely balanced; and... More

Staying in Paseo del Prado

Neighbourhood Profile
Paseo del Prado
The area around the elegant Paseo del Prado boulevard is much-visited by both locals and tourists. The world-famous Prado, the Reina Sofia, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza museums form a triangle of art and culture that spans this grand and beautiful avenue. On weekdays, the Prado Museum opens its doors for free after-work hours, drawing a diverse and excited queue of art lovers that wraps around the block. Palacio de Cibeles and Círculo de Bellas Artes cultural centers are other artsy hangouts to check out, with rooftop bars that provide impressive views of the city. While the Paseo del Prado and its roundabouts form a busy throughway in Madrid, a broad green pedestrian park in the middle is a calm and gorgeous place for a relaxing stroll. Just east of the museums, the Retiro Park is always a confluence of activity as families and friends of all ages take to the pretty paths and lawns to stretch their legs or to have a picnic.
