Went on the recommendation of a colleague and am very glad I did! Very attractive restaurant, not a very deep menu but they have some interesting dishes. I had a Palak Pakora as starter which is something I’d not tried before, and a Roghan Josh with rice and naan as a main. The presentation was superb, and the food very... More

The restaurant is in one of the best areas of Madrid at the lower end of Ortega y Gasset and is is modern design with Indian touches. The cuisine is excellent and a far cry from the usual simple and cheap Indian restaurants in Madrid. It is on par with some of the best in London or Mumbai. The staff... More

We were visiting Madrid and decided to eat at an Indian restaurant near our hotel. The hostess was rude. The food was average and overrated. We have eaten at several restaurants in different cities in Europe and USA when we travel.service is as important as food. Their website is not in English and they do not say that reservation is a must. When we... More

We wanted to have some authentic Indian food in a beautiful setting. This restaurant totally exceeded our expectations. The food was really good and the naan was not bad being that were not in india. Overall loved it. Great service as well!!!

They have given the place a facelift and it works. The food here is excellent and always consistent. Have been probably 50 times and has always maintained the level. The chicken tikka is one of the best I have had and their breads are delicious . I am waiting for them to start giving classes, just to learn how to... More

If able to get a booking, then this is a very pleasant experience. Food is excellent, the decor is metal-metropolitan, and the service is courteous but responsiveness varies.

Many people had spoken to me about this trendy restaurant as a place to get the best Indian food in Madrid. For me it was a big disappointment. The atmosphere was unique and it was indeed hard to get a reservation, but I just can´t say that the food stood out as particularly great among the options in Madrid for... More

This was by far the best Indian food we had in Madrid. We visited for lunch. The ambiance and food is so good and together with some Indian beer spent almost 3 hours of the afternoon there. Our friends loved the lamb curry and chicken tikka. The staff is helpful and cooperative. Do not forget to reserve a table before... More

I didn't like the lady manager, sardar cashier and the guy in suit who was busy in serving. We waited there for 30 min after we came from Bilbao at 11 pm at night they didn't had courtesy and hospitality manners. They didn't ask us as we were waiting for tables it was like we don't exist there then me... More

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
