We had lunch in this restaurant and food was good quality. Price for Saturday “menu del dia” lunch which includes starter, main, desert and drink was reasonable. Tuna was fresh and tasted very good. Service was very fast, maybe even too fast…

A small traditional place to have nice seafood and tasty deserts too. Especialy mixed seafood for 2 persons plate presentation was more then our expectation. We excited to taste deserts and it was happy end for us. We will visit again. :-)

This is a small place whose owners are from Galicia. Once you open the door you can smell the nice aroma of seafood. The decoration leans towards a fancy restaurant but the prices are great. Best seafood soup ever! The seafood parrillada is also great.

Located in a small side street of the cross road of central city shopping routes you will find this by family run type of restaurant. Its is just pure fresh fish and shellfish from Galicia they serve you "al punto". It is not rich of sauce, but rich of the taste of the product itself that if you are lucky... More

I think that had the service been more attentive, I would give this place a better rating. We were the only customers in the restaurant and we were constantly searching for a wait staff....both to order and to ask for the check. There are so many other restaurants in this area that they should pick up on their service.

Excellent food, not expansive. We ordered an enormous amount of seafood. They are very generous. They have all kinds of seafood. It was very hot in Madrid and the air conditioning was quite a relief.

This is a small but friendly restaurant. Reasonably priced wine. Small but varied menu, fish and seafood cooked perfectly.

During the lunch time we visited this restaurant randomly. For our surprise we had got a bottle of local wine (a good one). They had a tasty gaspacho and salad with salmon. For second meal we tried a fish and big portion of lamb on bone. This restaurant is famous for theirs seafood menu.

Ate here last night. Great food (Seafood spaghetti & friend had monkfish). Beautifully cooked & we paid less than we paid for rubbish in Plaza Santa Anna the night before. Definitely recommend a visit.

Neighbourhood Profile
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
