Very professional staff. Waiter spoke great English although we did not hear any other guests speaking other than Spanish. Impressive food and a number of small "extras" that did not appear on the bill. Great value for money.

For the price, and location, in center of Madrid, the service and food (tapas) were very good. It is typical food from the north of Spain, so, especially for the lovers, it is great. Recommended!

Things started off OK, waiters seemed pleasant and friendly. Then they start bringing out all these dishes that you didn´t order (seems to be standard treatment to foreigners in many lower class spanish restaurants), most of which looked absolutely disgusting - think frankfurter heated up and chopped into pieces, stale bread and some other non food. We sent it all... More

El Molinon is some where between a brasserie and a cafeteria and it certainly seems very typical Spanish. The food was good, but not extaordinary however it was very well presented and reasonably priced. The service was good and the staff speak English and were helpful with the menu.
