I was recommended to go here for their paella. It was a very good paella. We sat outside, but we ate very early so it was difficult to know how popular the restaurant is. The paella we troed was very fresh and with lots of seafood. I recommend it.

Great food, fantastic service, and a delightful evening! The paella was good, but the part (I was served) did not have the "crunchy bottom". We were with a group, so perhaps someone else had some of the bottom. The steak and calamari salad were FANTASTIC!

We went there in a group, which sometimes mean boring and over cooked food. Not the case! All the food was delicious and cooked well and plentiful. The cod dip - not sure of its Spanish name - served with toast points was beyond beautiful description! Everyone in our group practically licked the empty dishes to get the last drop.... More

The restaurant is beautiful and the menu looked appeling even though is pretty much the same type of food you can find in less expensive restaurant in Madrid. Our expectations where high h and we were disappointed. Our waiter did not speak English and although I speak Spanish his description of the food we were ordering was not very accurate.

This place is in Main Street Calle Granada. Recommended paella and worth the 15 minute wait. Brilliant food. Wine good too. Great value for money

Didn't think that this was one of the better restaurants that we have visited in Madrid, found the portions were very small considering the prices they charge. And if you complain the waiter becomes very grumpy, thought it very average here.

We were looking for a paella restaurant and this one was recommended by our hotel staff. We sat at the outdoor sitting area which was nice and cozy and had heaters to keep it nice and warm. The service was good. The food was presented beautifully and very tasty. We enjoyed very much the green salad (which was so much... More

An attractive restaurant close to the hotel (Gran Versalles). Never went inside though.. just stayed in the (very personal) outdoor area, which was heated nicely. Had the baby squid salad to start with, and was very impressed. Then had the paella con bogavante / lobster paella; which was also very enjoyable. All in all, a pleasant evening out in Madrid.

Great food, amazing broad of rice options. Nice fish, "dorada". But a little bit overpriced Good service. As normal in Madrid, at the terraza, it's allowed to smoke, that I personally find a little bit annoying I would come back anyway

Staying in Chamberi

Neighbourhood Profile
Chamberi
Multi-story residential buildings decorated with ornate balconies line the traditional, quiet, and pretty streets of Chamberí. Humble storefronts and neighbourhood taverns are scattered across the lower levels down every block, and here and there, there's a cluster of tables on the sidewalk. It isn't ever crowded, but people are always out, poking into the tiny bakeries, hardware stores, and tobacco shops, or ducking into a bright, unadorned cerveceria to have a coffee or beer by the bar, flip through the paper, and check the sports score. The round Plaza Olavide, where the fairly regular network of streets breaks form, is among the most green and lively spots. Restaurants line its circumference and sought-after outdoor tables fill the center of the plaza, where people relax to the sounds of kids playing and street musicians' tunes.
