The service was made by the only? female staff member who was the best English speaker. She was friendly yet professional and skilfully guided me through the food and wine options. The meal was superb with a good wine list.

I had dinner here when in Madrid for a night. The food was great (steak tartare) with a good wine list. The service was great balance between friendly and professional. Not cheap but well worth it for the experience.

The Adler Restaurant is part of Hotel Adler. The environment is very comfortable and welcoming. Tables are well positioned and there is the right choice among different sizes. The personnel is so gentle and competent yet fast and easy. The menu offers typical Spanish cuisine as long as the international one. I ate the entrecôte served with fried handmade potatoes... More

I know that the Adler serves much more than breakfast, but breakfast was the only meal we had here since we were staying at the Adler. For the record, breakfast was terrific - just plain really good. I wish we had gone back for dinner. Don't hesitate. It appears that the kitchen produces a fine meal in a small but... More

A charming little hotel in Salamanca. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was so nice returning to the room to find a large bowl of fresh fruit on the table. The beds were comfortable, the room spacious and the bathroom had Etro toiletries which were lovely. There was nothing to complain about and I really enjoyed my stay as did... More

Loved the breakfast here. The coffee was the best, with a separate pitcher of warm milk. Heavenly croissants, rolls, breads and pastries (the best that I had in Europe). Eggs perfectly done, with excellent breakfast meats. Service was impeccable.

Thank Pamela F

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
