We did our homework and have read the TA reviews so we selected a few restaurants for our 1 day visit to Pamplona. We ended in La Mandarra and we are glad to say that the TA reviews are a very good source. The staff was very friendly and the food was very good. Although I cannot remember the price... More

This place had by far the nicest atmosphere on the street so I stuck my head in to check it out and was hooked. The bar is full of delicious looking tapas but, starving after a day on the Camino de Santiago, I needed a proper, filling meal. The waitress was incredibly welcoming and talked me through the dishes when... More

Fantastic little place that serves great drinks, but more importantly, excellent Pintxos. There is a seating area at the back, but personally I prefer to stay at the bar with the locals and tuck into the selection of food they have on offer. The legs hanging from the ceiling just add to the charm of the place, but it's not... More

This is a very popular bar/restaurant in Pamplona so reservations are highly advisable. Beyond the bar area, there is a dining room as well as a second dining room in the back. Excellent menu del dia choices. When we were there just after New Year's, entrees included stuffed merluza (hake) and pavo (turkey leg). Tasty desserts including arroz con leche.

If what you are looking for when reaching Pamplona is for the typical Spanish food (what I mean here is for the classical without modernising it) here is the right place. They serve a nice menu dor 23,5 euros. Fishes there are really recommended and so are the mushrooms! Another thing to take is the octopus! The potato they serve... More

We went for lunch, myself, wife and adult daughter, it was crowded and buzzy with a good atmosphere. The staff were helpful and friendly. There was a menu de dia with a good choice. I had the pees, ham and egg which was very good, and the others had a corvette stew and a mushroom and veg dish which were... More

Recommended by a local friend and he was not wrong. Pintxos are large in size and different from the typical pintxos found in other bars. Good quality food in a nice atmosphere.
