We found Rays1 on the 'off chance' and decided to give it a try. Aah..... A home from home! Lovely food. My partner had the steak pie-chips, mushy peas and home made gravy and I chose my favourite chips beans and gravy. It was Yum! The setting is very cosy and the staff are lovely. The service was quick and... More

We went to this chippy to get some chips as we thought it would taste like home! Unfortunately the portions were small even though we ordered the large ones. This chip shop is over rated and over advertised. Also it is very expensive for a chip shop which made us very disappointed. All the eating meals on the menu are also very... More

Needs to visit UK again as Rays forgotten how... More

We had a lovely lunch here today (as usual). We've visited this chippy for many years - it's a popular place to bring any visitors we have and we're never disappointed, the staff are very friendly and happy. Our lunch was followed by a walk up to the view point.
