I have visited this Restaurant before for our Wedding anniversary in July 2016, where we sat outside and enjoyed a good but expensive meal. We decided to go the beginning of November for my Wife’s birthday. We sat inside which has pleasant surroundings of an old galleon ship. We were very disappoint with the meal and service with staff that... More

With an interior straight out of Pirates of the Caribbean, this is one restaurant not to miss. There's not much to complain about.. great location in a small bay north of Torrevieja, wonderful decor, top quality food and attentive staff. If I was to be really critical, the parking is difficult and it's not the cheapest place to eat, but... More

I was recommended this place by two different hotel managers, as I wanted to be sure to have some fresh sea food to eat. I had monk fish which very clearly was not fresh but had just come out of their freezer. It was over cooked and the sides of veg and potato were a joke they were so small... More

International Tapas Day. A lovely location, restaurant/bar, terrace right by the sea.We were warmly welcomed and sat outside 3 tapas available, (they had just started). We tried one of each with wine; €2.50 each. Excellent quality, value and service. Pisto con Bacalao - Sepia en Salsa - Ensaladilla Rusa con Pimiento Rojo, Boqueron y Anchoa. Served with a very drinkable... More

Whether you choose to dine inside or in the covered outside area, you will NOT be disappointed. The restaurant's exterior is a huge Spanish Galleon and looks quite magnificent, the interior is equally impressive. Outside, the dining area is covered with coconut palms and is a beautiful and tranquill place overlooking the sand and sea. Perfectly beautiful!

Meeting here with friends for a birthday celebration and expecting great things as strongly recommended - thank goodness we ate outside overlooking the sea as the other part of the restaurant was dark and empty. Having said that, our section was pretty empty also with little atmosphere and few diners. Huge choice of fish on the menu (too big really)... More

When we complained about the slow service and tough meat they were slow to react and were completely unapologetic. This is one of the most expensive restaurants in the area but the staff were uninterested in serving us. They did not make us feel welcome at all. The food was just average at best. Very disappointing...

What a terrific view, shame the restaurant was not up to standard. They charge around 100 euros per couple, a disgrace to say the least, the waiters were chatting to each other, we as well had to ask to be served, they did not seem bothered and thinking about it we should have walked out. The food was OK not... More

The restaurant has nice sea views but is very expensive for what is offered and service was offhand. Main courses for four adults were not delivered until a child finished an item which must have been classified as a “starter” (there was no kids menu on offer) resulting in main courses – delivered from the kitchen across a road –... Description
On July 11, 1988 begins the voyage of our galleon aground on the shores of the Mediterranean. It seems like yesterday and we have been 28 years of experience in the kitchen. The good work of these years has made us a benchmark in Torrevieja's gastronomy, being a necessary step for those who want to enjoy the best Mediterranean gastronomy. The restaurant's decor all wood makes the customer really feel plying the sea and every corner of the galleon is an unrepeatable place for the countless ornaments that describe the shape of seafaring life of yesteryear.
