We had an excellent "arroz senyoret" at La Riua and we highly recommend it! The only problem was the long wait between starters and the paella (but the restaurant kindly responded with an extra starter). For dessert, a modern version of a typical dish called Arnadi, which was excellent.

THE FOOD: supposedly one of the best Paellas in the world. Had the Valencian and Squid - both good but obviously different. Portions are very big! THE SERVICE: smooth and friendly. Nothing to complain about THE RESTAURANT: like it. The venue gives you the feeling that the restaurant is something special - not because of the modern, but because of... More

We had lunch and were so happy with it! This was the best paella we've had. The deserts are also tasty. We tried flan and another one that I can't remember the name of, but it was made of a traditional fruit that tastes very nutty and the texture was white and soft, my guess was it's a rice pudding... Amazing food in a traditional setting. Book ahead if you can. The paella we had was the seafood type rather than the rabbit one which is typical of the area. Still it was cooked to perfection.

We ate good paella here, with shrimps and squid. The restaurant looks nothing special. A minus was the waitress, who was very unfriendly. She just "threw" our paella on the table...

Following the recommendation of a local baker we find this fantastic paella restaurant a few steps from Plaza de la Reina in Valencia's city centre. Unpretentious from the outside, you would think it's even closed, but don't be mistaken: you're in for the best Valencian paella experience. The staff is very friendly. They will even take your photo. The paellas... More

Traditional restaurant in the heart Valencia. Best Paella we've ever had, duck breast and chicken. As starter we had marinated cod on top of fresh grated tomato, exceptionally good. Suggest booking in advance, otherwise waiting time is approx. 20min. Friendly staff and good service.

Taken there by my daughter who is studying in Valencia and this did not disappoint! Stunning food and great service. We had 2 different paella both served in traditional pans. Food hot and delicious. Great value.

Incredible Paella Valenciana.... life changing! Took a little bit of time to come out but definitely worth the wait. Just give yourself a lot of time if you're on a tight schedule/have to make a train or something to be safe. The dish was huge and was intended for at least 2 people - there were 2 of us and...
