Went a couple of years ago a number of times and was very very good so decided to go again this year but was disappointed. The food was good which is the main reason for going, the service was good and the food came out quickly but at the end of the meal I felt that they wanted rid of... More

We made a reservation for two of us for 8:30 amd when we arrived it was clear they had not saved us a table. We were seated at a table for four around 8:40, and then moved to a table for two around 8:50 - not a great start. Once we were seated, the food was good - the lasagna... More

I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant, In three days we had dinner there twice. Both times they gave us bruschetta appetizers because they have a 1 euro coperto per person. The first night I had pasta alla bolognese and my husband had fish and the second night has has fish with vegetables yet again and I had... More

Picture the scene: tourists wandering up the main street, past Il Tari, & encouraged by two smiling waiters to come in. We weren't hungry but had a bit of banter with them, in Italian, & booked a table for the next day. All good so far. When we arrived the next day we were "welcomed" by one of these guys... More

Great food very authentic Amalfitana. I had the scaliatelli with seafood and it was excellent, my husband had the branzino.

Cheap, with excellent quick service. Not great with English. Food fresh and hot. I had a big green salad and marinated vegetables in fresh olive oil. Overall the food was really good in comparison to others in Amalfi.

After dining at this restaurant on the second night of our stay in Amalfi we were drawn back again for our last evening by the unpretentious staff and good food, not to mention the excellent value. We had a superb Aubergine Parmigiana served steaming hot, followed by a Ravioli dish with Amalfi lemon sauce (the pasta was excellent) and finished... More

My wife and I went here for dinner on a cold April night. We ordered the lasagna and pasta with peppers and cream sauce. Both meals were excellent. The food was the type, when can I come back? Great service too, although the guy outside was a little pushy. Do yourself a favor and don't let him scare you off.

On a day trip to Amalfi we commenced a search for a gluten free lunch which is usually an issue. Stumbled across this gem and had one of the best gluten free pizzas I've eaten. With the spongy Nepalese base the mozzarella was delicious. We also had the 'blue fish' which was also very tasty. A perfect gluten free lunch... More
