We enjoyed the food at La botte pazza so much that we ate there two nights in a row! As others have mentioned, the antipasti is filling, and priced at only 10 Euros per person is a great deal. The first night our dinner consisted of this parade of small plates, all so different and flavorful. So much fun! Their... More

The place is lively with very good food. We just had antipasti and we were full afterwards.the wine is for free all night! Which makes the atmosphere really great :)

They seem to be most known as the place with the free wine. You help yourself to red or white from nearby kegs. Decent enough wine. You have a choice of either seafood or a meat oriented menu. Once you choose - the food starts coming. There must have been 6 or 7 antipasti courses alone. Simply prepared but sooo... More

We travelled around Italy for two weeks and this was hands down the best restaurant we went to. The menu was entirely in Italian. The chef was the only one who spoke English. He personally explained the menu to us. They offer 5-6 appetizers (tapas style) with either meat or fish. Then they have main courses you can order one... More

This was a wow. Just like another I went to (and I use some of the same words) it had no printed menu, just several (up to 10) dishes of the day. To me, this is a good thing, and if you don't like any of them, then you can't be that hungry or are a right fuss. You are... More

We visited a few restaurants in Salerno for dinner during our week long stay there. La botte pazza was one of them . The restaurant is good but we ate better in the other ones and so we were surprised that it is ranked as #2 in Salerno by Trip Advisor The food is nice, but they specialize in entrees... More

We really enjoyed the whole experience La Botte Pazza had to offer. The chef speaks the best English, so he personally came to our table to describe the evening's options. Once we selected a path featuring fish or meat (we both chose meat), the "starters" began to arrive. Bruschetta topped with fresh tomatoes and basil, eggplant and cheese in a... More

We went to La Botte Pazza at 8pm hoping to get a table without a reservation- well, it didn't open until 8:30... So we were first in line! (Those Italians and their late eating habits!) The chef explained to us the variety of options in the night and we began with the variety of starters (their speciality he explained). Every... More

La bottle pazza is one of the best meals we've ever had and the price very reasonable for what you get. The Chef and the waiters were incredible. The chef Marko is the best, so friendly and cooks the most delicious meals. We had the fish dishes, and we got 8 or 9 different sea food dishes which were so... More

We had a great dinner here during our 1 night stop in Salerno. The "terra" antipasti was very good and abundant. Wine was 'all you can drink', but of much better quality than some bottles we had in other restaurants. We joined the local tradition of dropping pieces of fresh peach in our wine. The peach later proved to be... More
