Taverna Rossini was a great location from our hotel near the Villa Borghese and received such high reviews that we decided to stop there as our first meal in Rome after arriving. The service was very fast and the house red that we ordered was fantastic! I ordered a ham and cheese calzone and my boyfriend ordered this wood fire... More

The food tells for itself. Amazing Roman food... from a great Carbonara to a perfect pizza. The place is amazing... and service is almost perfect. Price is completely fare!!! If you have a big party, make a reservation. Totally recommend.

I think my wife and I must have been the only tourists there, at least of the foreign kind. Packed with hungry Italians. Our hotel recommended it and it was a good call on their part. We went for lunch to catch our guide for Villa Borghese afterwards as it is a 10 minutes walk away. The amatriciana was excellent... More

We ate here three times during a recent stay in Rome. They have a big menu so there was always something new to try. It has an authentic Italian feel to it and seemed to fill up quickly with locals after 8 pm. The pasta and seafood dishes, as well as their pizza was really good. If you ever stay... More

This place was close to our hotel so we decided to check it out. It was great! The staff was great; the food was delicious; and the prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area. When we went back a few nights later.....without a reservation....and it was a busy Saturday night our previous waiter found us a table.... More

We ate here one night as we had gotten back late and it was close to our hotel, The Hilton Garden Inn Claridge. A pleasant surprise. The food and service were excellent, the menu was extensive and it was much more reasonable than similar restaurants nearer the tourist attractions. Make sure you make a reservation, its very popular with local... More

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
