You could imagine being in a countryside farm kitchen feasting on lovely Italian home-made food, but you are in central Rome. This restaurant scores on all points - ambience, service, location and most of all quality. It is a delight to eat here and I...More

Delicious meal tonight... house red was very agreeable too, and reasonably priced. Atmosphere friendly, courteous and inclusive. Didn't feel hurried, didn't have to wait long for piping hot food. Found the place quite randomly and glad we did. A hearty recommendation.

We found this restaurant after leaving the forum and coliseum, on the way to the Pantheon. It ended up being one of our favorites in Rome. It’s a true Italian Restaurant from head to toe. We started with bread, then we ordered lasagna, the house...More

Our tour group of 15 had a pre-set dinner here - and it was fabulous. Carbonara was fantastic as was the veal. Montebianco for dessert. Green sambuka and limoncello after dinner drinks. The waitstaff was fun and very efficient. Highly recommend!

Stopped off for lunch here because we liked the look of the place, traditional and authentic but even more so, because the waiters didn't hassle us as we approached or looked through their menu. We took a table outside, the waiters were great, so was...More

A local recommended this small, quaint restaurant for dinner. No reservation was needed, we just showed up around 8:30p and were seated immediately. The bruschetta & the rigatoni carbonara were exceptional. Gracious waiters. Highly recommend it!

We enjoyed several meals at the Abruzzi 25 years ago while visiting Rome with our sons and have visited on several subsequent trips to Rome. The Penne Arrabiata is the best, but all of the food is of excellent quality. It is. It a "tourist"...More

The back room is nice for a big party, but has no ventilation so it can get warm, so dress light and eat the wonderful food!
