We ate in this restaurant on recommendation of a local and weren't disappointed! Our favourite meals were the scallops for a starter and octopus with potato puree with black truffle for a main dish. The desserts were also heavenly and the house wine good and reasonably priced. It just could have been a bit more crowded since we were only... More

Fantastic evening of some of the finest food that my wife and I have had the pleasure of eating in Rome (and we've been wowed by the food on our trip). Beautiful burrata with puttanesca, oxtail ravioli, fettuccini with scampi and pistachio, rounded off with a wonderfully light tiramisu. All of the staff were attentive, but not too much and... More

Always happy to eat here. I've never had a negative experience and food has always been good. It is the ideal place for a nice business lunch with oysters, wine and tiramisù.

I've been there for a dinner with my family. The atmosphere was good, with low music, laugh and good dishes. The place is fantastic, in the middle of Trastevere!

We seemed to be the only non Italians there on a Friday evening. The whole restaurant was packed, the atmosphere was great, the food was great and the service was amazing.

Followed by TA reviews just right on the way checking my iphone app, chose in last minute while was searching for place for good lunch in Trastevere. Sunday afernoon, I came rigth after 12.00 knowing it should be open. Located just in the lane on right side of ponte Garibaldi, easy to find. Definitely famous among locals, I was the... More

I would like to suggest this restaurant to both tourists and Italians in love for Good food, fast service and good position. Personally I would suggest "Seppie e carciofi" e "code di rana", really delicious. On the other hand I would not suggest it for a tete-a-tete dinner. The restaurant furniture, table disposition and confusion do not match exactly the... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
