What a wonderful group of folks, opened their doors early for us and all the food we ordered all the way to the deserts were made to order! They took the time to explain the menu and walked us through their extensive wine selection! These...More

Nice restaurant in the Aventino neighborhood, suitable for a quiet and romantic evening. We could taste excellent Italian cuisine. The elegance and the hospitality of this place have really amazed us. The bill was right for the proposed experience. We definitely recommend this!

We were really looking forward to revisiting this restaurant in the Aventine,as it was the best food we experienced In our last visit to Rome three years ago. However, on this occasion it was the exact opposite. We had to wait ages for our main...More

Chose this as it was close by to our hotel but food was very disappointing and expensive for the portion size. Osso Bucco was fatty and tasteless and came with just peas so not filling. Octopus was bland and rubbery

Unassuming on the outside, but elegant yet unintimidating on the inside. Staff was wonderful, knowledgeable and very professional (and young, too, lol). Our waiter took the time to help us select wine to go with our dinner - an excellent pick that we thoroughly enjoyed....More

The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. I always eat as much amatriciana as possible when in Rome, and this place had the best among the other good restaurants where we ate during the trip. This restaurant seems to have a more sophisticated,...More

We were really exhausted after a long day of walking, and wanted something close to our hotel. We used TripAdvisor to fine this gem! We sat outside and were lucky to get a table. It was busy - but quite, and very quaint. The staff...More

If you are around Aventino you can have a dinner in this restaurant, the food is average, but the place is nice. Anyway Roman tradition is well represented and revisited. Can go but not too often.

Contrary to the chaos of the city, the Aventine is
Rome’s oasis. A neighbourhood made up of a patchwork
of ancient churches, hidden gardens, private homes and
embassies, peace and quiet is top priority and the
vibe definitely friends and family. Take a walk around
the Aventine and you’ll find a treasure hunt of
surprises like the clever little keyhole at the
Knights of Malta entrance (the only place you’ll find
