We are staying in an apartment nearby. We saw this restaurant with tables outside from our window. We stopped for a glass of wine. During our time there, a waiter brought a leaflet and told us to go downstairs. It was the west most portion of one of the theaters from the Roman times! It extended eastward and originally held... This meal was a highlight of our 10 days in Rome (Sept '16). Lovely setting, professional service and carefully prepared food.

A friend and I had lunch at this place. The location was lovely and quiet in a sort of vest-pocket little square or "largo". The service was fairly good. My lunch companion commented that she found the menu a bit misleading in terms of the descriptions of the dishes. I had pasta with ceci (chick peas) which was disappointingly dull.... More

I love this beautiful restaurant near Campo Dei Fiori with the sculpture of Giordano Bruno Who Was burned here. Rome always is telling you her millenian history. In this restaurant descending a lotte stairway you 'll find a little part of the ancient Theatre of Pompeo where Giulio Cesare was killed. Very typical roman dishes

Excellent food, genuine Italian style. Remember to visit the basement and enjoy the story that the place is built on top of the old Roman Theater of Pompey.

Talk about history and eating either right above or next to. This restaurant is built over what used to be the Theater of Pompey. We were there with a tour group for a group dinner and we had the privilege to eat in the lower level where you can see some of the ruins. The dinner was a 4 course... More

For a restaurant with generally positive reviews, our visit was disappointing. Located near the campo di fiore, perhaps a tourist orientation should have been expected. The service was not on par with a better class reputation and the food was good, but ordinary. The wine sat on our table for us to pour while the waiter attended new guests. The... More

We visited this restaurant one evening and enjoyed the food so much, we returned the following night. Service was very good, nice attentive waiter, and food was delicious. My husband and I had the veal escalope which was excellent. I also had the artichoke fried roman style which I'd highly recommend. Prosecco was also good. The location of Da Pancrazio... More

It is located on side street next to Campo di Fiori, called Piazza del Biscione, we sat on the out door table overlooking the Piazza. It was very pleasant and food / service was very good.

Ate with group. Anti-pasta; salad; bread/oil; entre; dessert. All well prepared and well presented. Wait staff was efficient and kind. Allowed us to slaughter their language. Had lots of fun and the wine was delightful.
