Nothing much to write about. If you are hungry and it is lunch time you could do worse but you could also do a lot better. Obviously the quality of the food has been greatly influced by the influx of tourists. We had five pasta dishes and all were ok but nothing that would entice me in returning. Prices are... More

Our friends in Rome took us to this restaurant and we're told that they are good at authentic local home cooking. This place just didn't let us down!! I had the most delicious fettuccine I've ever had - it looked as if it's cooked with just a few and the simplest ingredients but the taste was complicated and yummy!! It's... More

We've been coming to this place for 3 years now, it almost feels like family. The food is traditional roman food, enough even for the hungry ones, the environment is pretty familiar and relaxed. Usually not many tourist which is always a good sign Totally recommend

This antic trattoria is near the catacombs in an old casa with many charm and more nice inside with the chef and a server, very friendly and trattoria atmoshere, and the trattoria knows the art of fine roman eating a more homey establishment.

Like others we spotted this restaurant whilst catacomb-hunting and loved the atmosphere: a simply square room with high ceiling which was comfortably full of diners on a Monday lunchtime. The menu is very straightforward, just three pasta dishes, three mains and a couple of desserts ... but who needs more choice when the pasta is flavoured with wild boar and... More

My wife and I happened on to this restaurant while walking to the catacombs. It is not an elegant restaurant, it is a small family run operation. The décor is simple but It was air conditioned, which made it very comfortable on a hot day. The only staff was a waiter and the chef. The service was prompt and courteous.... More

We are regular customers at this small, family run trattoria. Nestled against the ancient mausoleum of Priscilla, it was a way station before becoming a trattoria in the mid 1800's. It is simple, small (less that 50 seats) and serves delicious "slow food." Priscilla's was "slow food" before the concept became popular. My favourite pasta is with wild boar, but... More

I really love this Trattoria and have eaten here many times. This venue itself is very quaint. And a great stop off before exploring the historic Appian Way it's situated on. The Church directly across the road is where Apostle Paul was belived to have seen Jesus and returned to Rome where he would be murdered. The food is very... More
