We started with a tour of the older parts of the restaurant which is built with parts of the famous theatre. Fantastic authentic Italian food with lovely service, we had a lovely evening.

My family and I had a delightful meal at Grotte del Teatro, and then on a second occasion my husband and I enjoyed a nice meal by ourselves, sans children. We were charmed by the hostess, who also acted as the waitress and possibly the chef? After looking at menus for some time, she said, "I will think for you."... More

Passed Grotte on the way to the multi-tourists restaurants in campo d'fiori. After being barked at by all the folks in front of the restaurants I made a u-turn back to this quiet authentic restaurant. Treated by an elderly gentleman outside - I knew I had found the right spot to eat. Fresh fish on display to the right as... More

Straight good italian cooking. Price worthy menu with fast and accurate service though we were a group of more than twenty. Started with carciofine fritter and then a tasty lamb stew. We will definitely come back. Thank you.

Wonderful service, delicious food, we are vegetarian and started with mozzarella, mixed vegetables and various breads. We then followed with mushroom fettuccine and mushroom risotto both delicious. The house wine was good and cheap only €7 😊

I was told to visit Campo de Fiori by an italian, but he explicitly told me to avoid eating in the actual piazza as the food isn't as good and is too overpriced. I stumbled across this gem after walking around a little. I was served by the owner's wife, a very typical Italian woman. She suggested I try the... More
