We stumbled onto this gem on our last day in Rome and it made it even harder to leave. The bur rata was some of the best ever. Had the Salt Cod on a salad with a delicate pesto, light and perfect for a hot afternoon. The prosciutto as well, some of the best that we tasted in Rome. The... More

Very nice restaurant just to take a break while walking around the city. Sparkling wine and small salty snacks, see terrapins and enjoy with your companion.

I have been coming here for 15 years now - I have watched the terrapins grow (in size and numbers!) and have brought friends and family here and have nothing but praise for the place (and the sea bass!!). Its a little bit of peaceful heaven tucked away in Roma that offers superb food and service by day and night!... More

Went here last night about 830 and we were asked had we a reservation which was a laugh as half the tables were empty. The MD looked us up and down and told us we couldn't order pizza. Staying at all 4 and 5 star hotels in Italy this was a laugh! There is no atmosphere, the staff are surly,... More

The waiter was incredibly professional and welcoming. Got a great seat looking over the rooftops. The food was superb with a sensational T-Bone steak dish (enormous portions but doesn't scrimp on quality). For dessert the cheesecake was also very good. Finally, the price was very reasonable. A great evening. Thanks to the waiter and chef.

We had our final meal of the holiday here and so glad we did. After the disaster meal the night before we treated ourselves. we hadn't booked so we turned up early (7pm) and got a table. We are a family of 4, 2 daughters 10 and 14. For us, we pigged out. we all shared two starters, we had... More

Stumbled on this restaurant from The Spanish Steps. Booked as was busy in the afternoon so pretty sure evening would be too. Outside or in. Go for outside if you can on the edge as you get excellent views of the city and the Vatican in the distance. We went in the evening and managed to get a decent view.... More

This place was absolutely amazing. A wonderful, elegant, romantic setting without being pretentious. The food and service did also not disappoint. Our waiter was extremely helpful and made great suggestions throughout the night. He was always there when needed without feeling like he was hanging around. Highly recommended.

Came across this restaurant after visiting the Spanish steps. We sat in the pizzeria area. The views and atmosphere were great. The pizza menu is enough to satisfy everyone's taste. The waiter was very nice and friendly (unlike other restaurants we have been to in Italy). Pizza was very good and decent size. The wine was good too. Prices might... More
