This is not high standard but the cook is a mom who does almost everything her self. 5 courses including wine is about $25. I was taken by some romans who love the place. Enjoy

Stumbled across this trattoria whilst browsing online and it was even better than anticipated. I love the concept of just turning up somewhere and not having to trawl through a menu. We arrived at approx 8:30 on a Monday night, the restaurant was relatively quiet...More

Nonna Paola has been at it since she was 24 years old! Now in her 70's she's getting on a bit and her home cooked menu gives you the sense that you're eating at your distant Italian grandmother's house ;-) . It's a set menu...More

Arrived in Rome on a Saturday afternoon, foolishly without dinner reservations. After wandering around and finding place after place fully reserved, we stumbled on Trattoria der Pallaro. The restaurant being half empty on a Saturday at 9pm was a warning sign, but we were starving....More

We went here because of recommendation, and I must say that it more than fulfilled our expectations! Simple but good tasting food, and a four dishes menu. A little twist is that you get served whatever they have decide to serve on the given day,...More

We initially were concerned about eating here, because there is no menu (they serve you what they want to serve you), but I am vegetarian, and my husband has a shellfish allergy. We went with Italian friends to ensure our dietary restrictions were communicated, and...More

Two years ago we read about this restaurant in Rick Steve's guide. We were tempted by his overview of the place and wanted to try it since the owner 's mantra is. "You'll eat what we feed you"! Using Tripadvisor's location map, we entered our...More
