Absolutely delicious gelato with innovative flavors: lemon with honey and rosemary, fig and cheese, white chocolate and basilic, lavender and peach, etc. Little to say that you need to go more than once. There most likely will be a line, but do not get discouraged. You won't get that type of gelato elsewhere.

We had been to this Gelato shop on the Via dei Coronari before on our last trip to Rome so when we ran across it again we said Alto (Stop) for a Gelato Break-time. Small portions but some unique flavors. They offer samples and you can choose an assortment regardless of the size of your order. TRY it.

We stumbled upon this place as our guest house was on the same street and went back at least once a day everyday of our trip! The ice cream selection is very good with some more unusual flavours such as white chocolate and basil that sounds weird but really works! Every different flavour we tried was fantastic and we tried... More

If you want to taste the Italian ice cream, run to gelatelia del teatro! Don't let the crowd outside stop you. The guys there have an effective system: get your number, wait and your turn won't be late. We tried the tiramisu ice cream, the orange-chocolate, the wine-chocolate and my favorite, 4 chocolates which was the best in their cornet.... More
