Italy is famous for ice-cream. Unfortunately I'm not a huge fan of ice-cream but we found this Gelateria on TripAdvisor and a lot of people said that this place serves the best ice-cream in Rome....and it's true. I'm so glad we decided to go and taste their special creations. They truly have one of a kind flavors and the ice-cream... More

Italy is the home of gelato and in Rome gelati shops pervade both tourist sites and local living districts. One of the best of them is the Gelateria Del Teatro is an artisan gelati maker that hand crafts their own varieties of gelati (and other deserts) on the premises. Once we discovered the shop hidden amongst the antique shops of... More

We stumbled upon this place by accident after deciding to wander back from Castel Sant'Angelo by foot instead of taking the bus. Great decision - this turned out to be one of my favorite gelato spots. I got chocolate and cinnamon, which I'd highly recommend.

They are amazing when it comes to nailing the flavours they claimed of their gelato. The balance of sweet and texture and everything is just right on point. I also love the atmosphere of the shop, and how you can sit and enjoy the gelato in the shop, unlike giolitti! In fact, i prefer this place over Giolitti.

It is situated in the heart of Rome, in Trastevere district. I've tried a lot types of ice cream in Rome, but this one is the best one I've ever eaten. In addition they also have a restaurant next to the Gelateria. Walking outside the gelateria, it is also possible to see the laboratory where they make the ice cream.... More

We stopped in here after eating a delicious light dinner of pizza and pasta at the gelateria's other half, the Cucina del Teatro. You have to do both- the business specializes in organic ingredients, and has charming staff that make the experience even more fun.

Their ice cream is just great! I've tried ricotta fig and almond - this one was good - but when I've tried their four chocolates... If you like ice cream and chocolate - try it! It's amazing, very chocolate and extremely tasty.

On this leg of our trip we only got to spend 24 hours in Rome. We had been here the year before and we made it our mission to return. We went the first time on the Thursday afternoon and each got two flavours. Due to the uniqueness of the flavours and the friendliness of the staff we decided to... More

After walking around for hours on our first night in Rome, we stumbled upon this gem. My fiance loves Gelato gives them a "thumbs-up". On the other hand I had no idea a Cannoli could be so delicious. In fact, it was my first ever and what better place in the world to experience your first "real" Cannoli. This is... More
