Two-course lunch for EUR 10 --- not bad at all. I stayed at a hotel above the restaurant and came here for lunch. The starter was a penne plate --- al dente, perfectly cooked. The pork chop main plate was also tasty, although a little too salty to my taste. Sitting in the sidewalk seating was relaxing.

Absolutely the best place I've eaten in all of Italy, the staff was super nice and attentive. They brought a complimentary glass of sparkling white wine to each my wife and myself and the prices were right on point. Excellent food! I'm not a big guy so I couldn't finish my whole pizza and they offered a take away box... More

We were in Rome for just short of a week and fortunately we found Elettra after a disaster the first night at a terrible restaurant a few minutes walk from Elettra; we liked Elettra so much we only eat here and never got fed up with the food on offer. Firstly, the staff who work there are polite, pleasant, courteous... More

We have recently come back from a trip to Rome and I absolutely have to write a review on this restaurant. After a hectic 4 days and an awful lot of walking we decided to find a restaurant close to our hotel for the last dinner as our feet were blistered and backs were aching, we were browsing the menu... We decided to try here based on some TripAdvisor reviews. The service was average but they were busy so that was fair enough. My partner chose the fillet of beef with rocket and parmesan and a side salad. The dish looked delicious if arrival but that was it. Awful meat, the waiter looked at how much she left almost 3... We came to this restaurant two years ago for dinner and loved it. We were not disappointed when we returned for lunch last Friday. The staff are so welcoming and both our pizzas were very tastey.

On our 5 days in Rome, we had dinner here twice because we enjoyed the food and wine and atmosphere so much. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
