After reading various reviews we weren’t too sure about this place... but... we must have had a good night as we found it lovely! The food was great, delicious, and the lady who served us was very lovely. She recommended the home made cake for...More

Worst meal we had in Italy. The carbonara had burnt bacon in which ruined the entire taste. The calamari was greasy and didn't taste of anything other than oil. The free pizza/omelette they gave at the start was disgusting (this should have been warning sign)....More

Poor service, disgusting. When I orderd a tilamisu, they brought us millefeuille that looks like leftovers. I told them about that, but they didn't admit it.

Terrible service. Waiter didn't write my order down and then, surprise, I never received my appetizer. My pasta dish was extremely bland and the pasta was overcooked. The waiter never asked how everything was and in fact never came to my table again. Normally, I...More

Most Rome restaurants I went to were good. This is one of them. We had appetizers, entree and wine. Service was good. The only bad thing i can say is that sitting on the patio a lot of street vendors would walk up to us...More

Tomoko was around the corner from our hotel. The service was disappointing. One of us did not get their food until 10 minutes later. My spaghetti with clams were dry and tasteless. The street vendors would stop by the tables so although its beautiful sit...More

We're surprised about some of the poor reviews. The restaurant was busy when we had an evening meal here, but they found us a table and we ordered Aperol Spritzers straight away. Despite being busy they were very easy about us sitting and enjoying our...More

We had a very good experience in this restaurant. Good food and pleasant service. The wine was served in an ice bucket and the beer was cold.

I don't recommend at all this restaurant. Firstly, the waiters were so unkind and we and other people had to ask many times to bring the food and drink we had ordered. The waiters didn't take the right order since they were so lazy that...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
