we picked this place out of the dozens around because of its unusually high rating for this area. the music inside was a loud italian dance-pop and after a few minutes of that we just moved outside. the service was slow and inattentive even though the place was almost empty. the food (lunch) was reasonably priced but NOT good. I'd... More

After seeing a 2 hour line for the Colosseum, I convinced my friends that wine in the sunshine would be a better idea (and gave me an excuse to check out Gay St.) I not only came back later that night, but again the next day and stayed for 5 hours until I flew out. The boys at the bar... More

Gay cafe/bar but straight friendly. During the day mainly tourists. Food is good and reasonable, staff are friendly. Choice is good, typical Italian tasty food. After a trip to the coliseum is a good place to stop and refresh yourself.

The food is OK and so the prices. If you seat outside there is an amazing view of Coliseum. Good value for money.

Cheap and good coffee overlooking the colusseum. Considering its location (Others in the area are for more pushy and expensive) Service quick and friendly.

Our main eating place as we had breakfast each morning, staff friendly helpful and continental breakfast came with delicious pastries and abundant coffee. It is on Gay St, so expect it to be noisy and busy, but was not an issue as we were so tired from all our sightseeing. Had a couple more meals here and food was great... More

So it's right by the colloseum and the prices are cheap! We got drinks for €3-5 euros each and the food is around €8 a pizza or sandwich. The view is great as well. Most of all the staff are hilarious! We even got a free poster 😉 the only thing is the food isn't exactly Italy's finest, but it's... More

If you manage to find a table outdoors and the weather is good, the view to the Colosseum is amazing. Their cocktails are very cheap too. The staff and the people are very friendly.

Love this place and always head here for lunch as soon as I arrive in Rome. The staff are lovely (and always charge my phone 😀) Considering you have a view of the Colosseum it's amazingly cheap. We paid about 5€ for a medium (pint) Peroni and 8€ for a Pizza. The foods delicious and the boys are lovely. Absolutely... More
