First, the food. Delicious Ethiopian food. We shared injera with different wot, including Doro wot. It was all very tasty! They also have tej, which was quite good and not too sweet. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the whole place is decorated with items from Ethiopia. The service was impeccable! The waiter, which I assume must have been the owner,... More

Wow nice hospitality. The food is so good and also the price is very reasonable and the interior of the restaurant is well decorated with Ethiopian culture. If you know about ethiopian food then I recommend you to visit it. Don't Forget to take a cup of coffee too.

We were in Italy for two weeks and this place was by far the best food and hospitality! As an ethiopian , I can attest that they use authentic Ethiopian Kebe (butter) which really often makes or breaks the Ethiopian dish. Giovanni and Faskia(owners) were so nice and offered us the best Ethiopian dish and Ethiopian drinks available. Felt like... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a reliable Roman food reviewer and it did not disappoint. Went with a native Roman who lives just a few miles away. He was glad to know of it and even happier when we ate! The owner was gracious and helpful. The food was incredible, tasty and very well seasoned. We got the... More

Stopped here on a Sunday and arrived when a wedding reception was planned. Owner welcomed us anyway and fed us well. Very kind staff and quick service, food was good. Our only complaint was the price (120 E for 4 adults, 3 kids), quite unlike the price of ET food in the USA. Had the same experience in Amsterdam, so... More

I had a great evening last Friday trying out Ethiopian specialties in this friendly family run restaurant. We had the house platter and it was way too big for 2 people and a lot more than in some of the other Ethiopian restaurants I have been to in Rome. The owner is Italian-Ethiopian and spoke in Amharic with my Ethiopian... More

While the location wasn't easy to locate, the restaurant was certainly tasty and offered a great introduction to Ethiopian/ Eritrean cuisine for my Italian friend who hadn't experienced the specific flavors before. We went together for lunch last Sunday, and the restaurant was empty. However, the simple decor and the Eritrean television program really added to the environment. Seconding a... More
