If you are staying in San Lorenzo region in Rome, you can have one of your dinners in Pommidoro with locals. It has a nice ambiance. Not much tourist around, as it a local restaurant and not on a main street. I had “Pappardelle Cinghiale”...More

This is a lovely little local restaurant in the San Lorenzo area of Rome. We telephoned about 18:00 and booked a table for 4 people at 20:30 on a Friday night. We made ourselves partially understood, although we thought the booking was for an outside...More

That was certainly a successful dinner! I remember about this place from long time ago and I brought several colleagues of mine to eat there after work. We all had a great time with high-quality food. Portions were generous and both meat and fish were...More

We found this place by pure chance as we were looking for food near our Airbnb. I think most people make reservations, but we didn't. They still seated us right away cause we came around 6pm. But lets get to why this was the best...More

Small, family owned, nothing pretentious, delicious food. I had the pappardelle with wild boar sauce - to die for! I also loved their wine and delicious fresh bread.

The carbonara is amazing ! If you come in summer you should ask to eat on the terrasse ! The neighbour is quiet. Great diner at night.

It was fun to eat here: atmosphere is casual, homey, family-style -- but don't demand too much from the kitchen. Roast chicken was dry, pasta dishes fine but nothing special. But it's a good jumping off point for exploring the trendy San Lorenzo neighborhood.

This restaurant was recommended to me by my taxi driver as well as my host, so I was rather excited to eat there. I really should not have wasted my time. I'm not really sure what the problem was but it seemed as if they...More

Really really great pasta and not too expensive. I recommend the gricia (or something) super tasty. It's a bit of a trek from the centre but if your youngish and looking for a night out after dinner it's right in San Lorenzo, which has loads...More

This is a small restaurant in a non tourist part of Rome that is easily reached by tram and bus. Focusing on locals it provides excellent tradional dishes. Would recommend the carbonara which freshly prepared and no cream in sight! The area of San Lorenzo...More

San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in
