After having an uncomfortable welcome outside instead of asking me whether I want to stay outside or inside the restaurant, they gave me a menu with Italian and French. Fortunately I understand French and when I decided to order, the servants just ignored me. After three times trying I decided to leave. There was one more terrible thing about the... More

Reading some of the other bad reviews makes me realise that it wasn't just us who got the bored, couldn't be bothered treatment. Shabby menus, that women "serving" ,who was more interested in talking to her friends on her phone and arranging flowers !. Virtually every thing we ordered ,we had to remind them of .And after all that the food... More

A bit surprised to see the large range of different opinions of trip advisor members about this place. We did not go there based on trip advisor comments, but actually wanted to go to another restaurant next door "Ai tre Scalini". We arrived at tre scalini at 12.25, and were told by the waiter that the restaurant opens at 12.30,... More

Well now, we could possibly bypass the fact that the waitress was totally uninterested in her job, had absolutely no verbal skills (literally, didn't even say hello or you can sit her) and dropped off the menus like we were annoying her being there. Whilst we were waiting she stumbled on another customer's bag dragging it as she was going... More

We saw a lot of good comments so we decided to go . Unfortunately at the beginning a waitress gave us menu in French . Of course its not a big deal but after that we were waiting about 10 minutes to take the rights one. We have ordered 2 main dishes and 2 starters. 1 of the starters was... More

We came to 3 (2 adults and 1 kid), the Pasta were hard the sauce to salty, the brusccetta awful and I don't even talk about the service slow and unfriendly.... We wasted time and money.

A group of six of us booked a table on a Friday night. The restaurant was empty when we arrived. The lady of the house was very insistent that the antipasta were special & that we should try them though one of our group was unsure. We decided to be guided by the staff. We had bruchetta( 5 for 6... More

Servers here were so rude, I couldn't figure out what I could have done in my short time seated to anger them. But reading the other reviews, I can see that it wasn't personal. On top of that, my carbonara was disappointing- al dente practically to the point of being crunchy, while the ham was soft gelatinous blobs.

The food was fine, but the waitress was rude to the point of being mean. At one point I felt like walking out. Oh well.

My family (wife and 2 year old daughter) and I had just landed in Rome. We were set for a tasty italian cuisine from the moment we arrived. Da Robertino was the spot! Amazing food and great wine and open late for the late travelers. This a must on your list. Their service is top notch they even had diapers... More
