Having passed this restaurant a number of times and liked the style and menu, so we decided to try for dinner. The restaurant is styled like a wine bar however the focus is on food and in particular truffles. Service was good but the food was delicious and the wine recommendation perfect. Price is on the high side but the... More

My partner and I found Ad Hoc through our Hotel (Ripetta Palace- a block up the street) & it was by far our highlight of our 3 day visit to Rome. The ethos of the restaurant is to relax, and not to rush. We were shown a table (without a booking) next to the window, given a complementary glass of... More

We chose from the a la carte menu. The pasta special (crispy bacon with aged pecorino cheese) was delicious, as was the beef with spinach and espresso tiramisu. The wine list is extensive, and we enjoyed the Bibi Graetz sangiovese. The staff were all friendly and attentive. This was our second visit as a family of four, and we highly... More

We (my wife, my son and I) had a terrible experience in ad-hoc on Thursday 5 January 2017. It is a miracle that this restaurant is in the Roma top 100 with such poor food, atmosphere, attitude, service, organisation, heating, etc...Only the wine was good. We had far far far better experiences during our stay in Roma, including at Babette,... More

We tried the place for a friend advice. Definitely a good advice!!! Great food in a spectacular intimate location. The jewels are the wines on the walls, something very special! A top place in Rome with right prices

I visit this restaurant every time I come to Rome in winter. Love the truffle degustation menu with 3 starters, 2 different pasta, 2 meat dishes and 3 little desserts. Every course with a different wonderful wine.
