We loved this restaurant so much that we managed to visit it twice during our short stay. Staff friendly and helpful and food excellent. The waiters were so helpful and our table close to the food display on entering. I just loved everything about this restaurant the food had a selection of traditional dishes but seafood their speciality. We had... More

If you want authentic Italian cuisine at a reasonable price this place is perfect. We ordered a bottle of wine, sharing starter, mains and a sharing dessert and it came to under 100 Euro - very reasonable for central Rome! The waiters were helpful and fun and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

My husband liked the look of the outside of this restaurant so we decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. Staff were attentive and friendly from the minute we walked in to the minute we left. I had the Risotto and my husband had Fillet Steak (medium) with potatoes. Both were cooked to absolute perfection. We... More

Great fast service. Highly entertaining. Most fun I have ever had in a restaurant. Waiters were a hoot. Between the 4 of us we had quite a variety of dishes, all great. The apple pie dessert was amazing. For a city like Rome it was great value. If I lived in Rome I would be going back over and over... More

This restaurant has a very friendly and positive vibes. The service staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The food is amazing and also excellent desserts. I recommend the dish spaghetti with cheese and pepper sauce (cacio e Pepe).

My girlfriend and I had seafood salad for dinner that was actually tasting alright when we had it. However, next morning it was hell on earth! Both of us were totally sick for the fish that has been served.

Great service on entrance, welcoming with a nice atmosphere. We both had pasta, was lovely but not a huge amount of meat but that's how Italians like to serve it. Nice starter of cheeses and good wine. Reasonable price! Worth a visit!

The front of house staff were lovely, attentive and extremely welcoming and I could not fault them in any way. I have to be honest though with all of my reviews, and unfortunately my main meal was poor. I had a fillet steak (medium) with mushrooms. I couldn't believe how quickly the meal arrived. The cut of beef was brain... More

It's a great venue and very east to find near Termini station. The menu was varied and everything we ordered came quickly and was really well cooked and presented. Also the waiters were good fun and added a lot to the experience. We have rebooked to go there on New Years Eve

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
