On our first night during our recent trip to Rome, Italy, we asked the concierge for a suggestion on a local restaurant where we could have some peace and quiet with very local cuisine. This was a big hit with both myself and my husband....More

Another typical but touristy Roman trattoria, a bit out of the way. Quite large actually, but broken down into smaller rooms. Very friendly welcome and service on a busy night. The first course (spaghetti with squid and sea urchins) was quite good. The second one...More

We stayed at the Boscolo and Taverna Flavia was recommended to us since the taxis were on strike and it would be walking distance. We liked the risotto pumpkin and that is why we gave a rating of 3. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti...More

Although the food was good it was quite pricey. The service could have been better - we were offered dessert before we had even had our main course & we ordered prosecco and were brought cava. Strange choice of soundtrack e.g. Saturday Night Fever followed...More

I'm sad to leave a rather negative review but please take it as a suggestion to stir the place up and make it great again, as it deserves to be. Very nice and friendly staff, beautiful setting, but the food is rather disappointing, especially in...More

I have had lunch here on a number of occasions and the service and food has always been good. A highlight of my latest lunch was an Ovoli salad and the pecorino and pepper spaghetti which were delicious. Well worth a visit.

An old, Roman style restaurant, perhaps resting on its laurels of days gone by? Walls adorned with movie stars who apparently have visited? Recommended by the concierge, but my wife and I weren't necessarily impressed. Little things -- like a bread charge we didn't order,...More

We visited Taverna Flavia on our last night in Italy. It was delicious and I highly recommend a visit. There were four of us and we each had something different. Everything was delicious! Everyone in the staff was warm and friendly.
