I know Rome very very well. I lived in the Eternal City for 3.5 years, and yet, I have to say, I still struggle to find good restaurants that have good cuisine + good service + good location + good prices. La Quercia combines these 4 variables !!! I really enjoyed this place, and so did my 20 friends who... More

I used to eat here about 30 years ago, when the Osteria didn't even have a sign with the name outside. It was a very simple place where la signora cooked a few very good and tasty dishes, and the prices were extremely user-friendly! So my expectations were high when I decided to go there with friends in April 2017.... More

Had one of the best meals ever in Italy here. I arranged a dinner for 28 people with Lucia of Osteria La Quercia. It is tucked away in a quiet piazza near Campo Di Fiori. We experienced local cuisine and wines. The foods just kept coming out, each course better than the one before. The service was amazing. Lucia and... More

Fabulous food, lovely atmosphere. Book in advance - it fills up quickly. A little quirk - bread is served in a brown paper bag 😊

In the moddle of tourist Rome we stumbled into this restaurant which was full of locals having Sunday lunch. We were made very welcome. Several of our group had rabbit which they pronounced delicious. The house wine was good and the bill was reasonable. We will go back

This restaurant is only a short step away from so many standard restaurants with urgers out the front. But it is so different. the service was really welcoming, and the food was all fabulous. I had a bean entree and a Baccala and bean soup. Seems similar, but they were very different dishes. My panna cotta was so-so, but the... More

La Quercia is located slightly away from the crowds and has a nice atmosphere. The food selection is very interesting, with lots of local fare. The breaded sheep brain and sheep offal for appetisers were excellent. The tagliatelle vongole came with lots of sweet green peppers - an interesting choice. The oxtail pasta was ok - rather undercooked the pasta,... More

The restaurant is located on a lovely quiet piazza that is not far from the main streets. It has a comfortable cozy atmosphere inside. We enjoyed the stuffed zucchini blossoms, porcini, pici with asparagus & truffle, saltimbocca and osso bucca. They also have a good house wine.
