I live near to this excellent restaurant so I have visited more than once. And in my opinion if you want to find genuine Roman food with great service at a very reasonable price, this is it. Last night we had a wonderful plate of different cheeses with a mixed salad, plus a superb plate of fresh fish and baked... More

We came for pizza with recommendation from our hotel. The pizza was great, and the rice ball superb. The service was perfect. I would definitely go back again.

We visited this restaurant based on the recommendation of a local resident. It was absolutely delicious. The person recommending it also recommended ordering the pasta carbonara. It was wonderful. Rich. Creamy. Heavenly. Everyone in our party loved their food. We had the house wine which was great. Very reasonably priced and delicious. Need anything more?

During August many bars, shops and eating places are closed for summer holidays. The tourist ones stay open but they are often not the best, and expensive. Armando is the exception!! Outside seating plus a huge inside too, fast efficient service and excellent food at very very good prices. Not to be missed, within walking distance from termini Station. Five... More

I had dinner here twice during my stay in Rome. Tables are on the sidewalk under trees, which was very nice. Everything we had was good or better. Wine and service was great...absolutely no complaints. This is perfect for a solid meal, generous portions and good service. Prices are excellent...great value overall!

The food was really good and the waiter was even better! It is a place for the locals but our waiter was very nice and took the time to help us order. Food is not expensive, we paid $60 euros for family of 5 with drinks included.

Thank Mario P

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
