Our hotel concierge recommended this place as it is only 3 minutes away. I did know ahead of time they charge for a bread basket and 10% service fees, so I was not surprised. The artichoke antipasti, the seafood pasta were ok,but not spectacular. The staff here are very friendly, but of all the meals we had in Rome so... More

A nice, authentic native Roman restaurant--would highly recommend it over the more touristy options in the area. Went there twice on a recent trip--once with relatives who live in Rome--everyone greatly enjoyed and had a wonderful time. Very friendly staff. Order anything and enjoy!!

The food was delicious - if you want a good traditional Italian meal then definitely go here. It is very central and easy to get to as well. The cons though are that it is a cold restaurant, we were inside but were still shivering at times. Unfortunately, one our dishes turned up not that hot either which was a... More

I spent my 48th European vacation in Rome, Florence, and Venice, and no, I do not work for an airline or a travel agency and never did. I just like to travel in Europe. One of the reasons why I like to travel in Europe is to eat in France. One of the reason why I like to travel in... More

I don't think I've ever posted a review on Trip Advisor. But the food was so excellent, the atmosphere so wonderful, and the service so good, that I had to rate it. Highly recommend the Tartufo beef fillet. Most tender fillet I've ever had in my life. Very nicely cooked meat.

Cosy taverna in a side road close to Pantheon. You can sit both inside and outside under warming lamps (we were there in December). Service was good. The food was fresh and reasonably priced.

Amazing food, attentive staff and beautiful surroundings. All the dishes were incredible and worthy of any michelin starred restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant and plan to visit again on my next trip to Rome.

Very close to Montecitorio and Pantheon. Good food and good service. If you like wine, they have also a huge collection for you to choose.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
