It is not their fault I don't speak Italian and they have a right not to take credit cards, but if you want order something you might like, bring a dictionary and cash. The garbanzo bean salad that came with the bread was very good. I am still trying to figure out what was in the pasta sauce. It tasted... More

The food was great. I especially loved the buffala ricotta with the lightly spicy tomato jam. Their Amatriciana and Cacio and pepe are also very good.

We went there twice and loved the food. If you're looking to experience a nice meal away from the crowds this is the place to go. The staff was really nice and had no problem in speaking English.

This is a wonderful place. The menu is on a blackboard (however, the dishes didn't change in die 4 days we've been there). The staff is super-friendly and the food is just great. No frills, just authentic Italian/Roman food for reasonable prices. This restaurant is pretty popular among locals, so better make a reservation. Oh, and dinner only after 8... More

We were recommended this restaurant from the owners of the apartment we rented just a few blocks away. After reading all the positive reviews we decided to walk down for dinner. After a brief explanation of the menu we ordered our meal. Our starter was fresh ricotta and a tomato jam, which was delicious. Then the mains arrived. At first... More

Many locals, but young and friendly staff willing to explain menu. Typical Roman fare, home made, generous portion size. Great "aperitivo", i.e. lots of small dishes and a glass of wine before the kitchen actually opens. Nice food, good value for money, and friendly staff. Will come back!

We only had to walk 100metres from our digs. We were welcomed by the owner and one of his staff translated the menu. We sat outside enjoying the passing parade. The only downside of outside eating in Italy is that smokers can light up at their table. We started with an aperitif of buffalo cheese with an eggplant jam which... More

This is an amazing restaurant, full of character and with a menu that seems to change on a daily basis. There is just a board on which the day's specials are chalked. Fortunately the staff speak good English as the menu is entirely in Italian. I started with Parma ham and perfectly ripe figs, followed by cod with seasonal vegetables... More

The pasta is awesome, authentic Italian food. Their Tiramisu is the best one we have ever had!! It was a very positive experience, truly recommendable. The service was excellent, really kind and helpful. We will surely repeat on our next visit to Rome!! :)
