Strolling around we ended at Enzo's and it was a nice surprise. Very nice starters for only €8, great pasta carbonara €10 (huge portion), white wine €6 per liter, Peregrino water €2. No tourists, only Italian couples and family's. Friendly. We go again.

the restaurant was small, quiet. the food was very delicious. i would definitely recommend the pasta with shrimps and mushrooms. the tiramisu was very good as well. the only problem was that the staff did not know english, but they tried to help as much as they could.

... but now I feel it deserves five! I tried the "coda alla vaccinara" (cowboy-style beef tail), a real experience for the senses, and the fried "cicoria ripassata" with garlic and red hot pepper - one of the best ever tried. On this second visit I was not in a hurry and I could appreciate the familiar atmosphere and the... More

It's a very easy going place with a nice and very attentive staff and the typical Roman cuisine served in a much more better way than in the city center. Pastas and meat are very good. I would suggest it to foreigners coming to Rome: this place would be cheaper than the awful ones serving fake food in the city... More

Fairly ordinary-looking restaurant but the food is very good. We ate here twice and were pleased with every dish. It is worth a visit.

You need to book or arrive before the opening hours and queue... But once you get a table, you will not regret it! The food is delicious and you definitely want to try the burrata: AMAZING! The waiters are very friendly as well!

We loved this restaurant! A great small place outside of the city center. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They spoke a little bit of English and were very attentive. Our meals were both excellent and the antipasti was exceptional! Great vibe and cheap food.

Service was quick and friendly (although the servers spoke little to no english). We had the stuffed zucchini flowers and brushcetta to start, which were OK. We had the giant ravioli and oxtail as mains which were solid meals and the portions were very generous. For dessert, they gave us a complimentary shot of sweet wine and some cookies which... More

Not in the actual city centre, so not much tourists here. We had a fantastic lunch here with fresh home made pasta, antipasti and local wines. When going to Pyramid metro station, go here!

Staying in Testaccio

Neighbourhood Profile
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighbourhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.
