This year for the third year in a row we have paid a visit the this very characteristic little restaurant. What to say is more than an eating experience it is a jump in the "romanita`"! Embrace it and don't get disappointed this is the...More

Just finished a dinner - we wish we did not go there. Fish was not even average, a blind 100 year old would havecut zucchini better, and dough in which the fish and zucchini were was bland. Skip it. Rome is full of good and...More

After a few days of pizza and pasta, it is time to switch gear to something else. Not so far from Campo De Fiori square, you will find the shop hidden in a small square itself. Price is very reasonable and most importantly the food...More

We tried this place based on a locals recommendation, and so glad we did! There is nothing fancy about this restaurant, but the experience is quite authentic. If you enjoy fried fish this place is a must, otherwise keep on moving. The fundamental choice you...More

The simplicity of this place is what draws me to it. Their menu is short and to the point and they do those few dishes well. The tradition is to go to the back of the shop to the kitchen and get you take-away cod...More

Excellent Fried Cod for affordable price (4.5 Eur/piece). Very traditional food and well prepared despite being in a super touristic area. It's possible to eat inside, however I'd reccomend this as a take away option: enjoy the beautiful surrounding while in Rome!

My husband and I ate here in June on our honeymoon, and we still talk about it. The decor, menu, and ambiance are all no-frills, but they sure know how to fry up some cod. We loved the cod, of course, cheap table wine flowing...More
