This restaurant came recommended by our hotel. No vegetarian option on main meals, they checked with the chef who said he can make a 'burger'! Asked for my lamb chops to be medium when ready to eat was well done. Quiet when we visited hence waiters just standing chatting & not paying any attention to customers. Had to call them... More

What a wonderful experience!! We descended the stairs that seemed as if we were entering an ancient hide-a-way. The servers were were fun, the atmosphere light and the food was amazing. We let Arcangelo, our server, guide us through our evening. Everything that we tried was beautiful. My only regret is that our next days excursions made it impossible to... More

We were 8 people and had a wonderful meal. The staff were particularly attentive and made the meal even more enjoyable. The ambiance is very cozy and pleasant. The menu is varied and there is something for everyone. The wine is very affordable and so we had a delightful evening.

Traditional Italian, specialising in fish dishes, with very friendly staff and good service. Excellent value - €50 for two, with two courses and wine. Our second glass of house wine was free, so definitely a winner!

We ate here twice during our week in Rome and wish we could have traded several others for their delicious menu. The owner Roberto was charming and the main. room has an intimate atmosphere. On one visit we had a bottle of red house wine -$10. 1 artichoke souffle and 1 sliced scallops for antipasti , I had sliced shrimp... More

The restaurant is nice and the atmosphere is good. Staff is very friendly. They have time for a chat and do their best to make you feel welcome. We found the food a bit disappointing. Maybe the chef didn't have his best evening, maybe we ordered the wrong things, I don't know. We shared the Italian appetizers for starter. Lots... More

Nice restaurant next to Piazza del Popolo: considering the location, there are many tourists as customers, but also people from Rome. The environment is really nice, especially the main room (I was in a smaller one and it was fine as well). I appreciated the food (typical Roman) and it's possible to choose between sea food or meat food. Prices... More

We had dinner here at the recommendation of the hotel concierge. Everything about the experience was great. We each had a pasta starter (I had the gnocchi) and shared a fresh sea bream dish. Everything we ate was top shelf and their service made the entire meal enjoyable. There were a number of locals there which is often a good... More

First of all let me warn all travellers looking for this restaurant to look for "Via Dell' Oca". Streets in Italy sometimes have two names . . . and this is one of them: so do not be confused. The restaurant offers a menu based on traditional roman food and, the dishes that we ordered, were certainly up to scratch.... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
