This place is brilliant. Probably the best pizza I've had in Rome so far and a great atmosphere. We went at lunch and it was packed with locals and felt like a real Rome experience.

Very good food, with great variety on the menu. Pizza is excellent as are many other dishes on the menu. Ate with a large group of friends, and all had something different, and nobody was disappointed. Service was speedy and pleasant. Large dining room and outdoor patio in the nice weather. Prices are very reasonable, as it is not in... More

"When in Rome do as the Romans do!", goes the saying especially when you are hungry! Romans like taverns, and when you see only Romans having lunch or dinner then be assured that you would have found the typical Roman osteria or tavern. This osteria is such, offering genuine Roman food at moderate prices. One should ask for first courses, and... More

Food was more than OK, good pizza and nice house wine. I did not regret taking the tiramisu as dessert.

Simple decor, clean and nice service. We wanted pizza and this was very close to our hotel. The pizzas were properly Italian - simple and many without cheese - and very fast. We had 2 'thin' pizzas, 1/2 litre of red wine and a coffee for €25. We left full and happy that given the current state of the £... More

We had a very nice experience in this place last time in Rome. Service was great and the waiter recommended us the best dishes to eat the four of us. Italian appetizers are quite big (and tasty) so we were recommended to wait before ordering the second dish. Everything was good, the place was excellent, and the food nice. To... More

We arrived at this restaurant by accident on our first day in Rome. We were only looking for a place to grab a quick lunch after our flight, and discovered our favorite restaurant of the entire trip. This place is not only fairly cheap, but every dish we ate was excellent. The beer and wine are terrific, and one great... More

In this restaurant you have a large choice of dishes. First of all, you can taste the typical first courses of roman tradition (gricia, carbonara, etc.). If you like pizza, they also make good pizza roman - style (very thin and crispy). If you want to stay a bit lighter, you may choose a big salad (my favourite is "testaccina",... More

One of my favorite restaurants in Rome. Nothing fancy but very good local food at a great price. Definitely recommendable for pizza, salads and their delicious desserts!

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
