This gem of a restaurant is hidden in the residential area of Prati and fortunately for us was within a 10 minute walk of our apartment. We went as a party of four with no booking - this wasn't an issue and we were seated quickly. We all decided we just wanted a "Primo Piatto" and placed our order for... More

This place is in the residential area of Prati away from the main tourist hangouts in Rome, and it's certainly worth seeking out. The atmosphere is relaxed and the furnishings and decor are camly stylish - neutral tablecloths, lovely glassware and nice thick napkins, and the presentation of the food was a delight. Prices are higher than in some tourist... More

I had had this on my agenda from the day we arrived in Rome, being just around the corner from our apartment. At present it is partially hidden by some scaffolding on the building but that is no detraction. Decor looks really new although I understand the restaurant has been run by the current owner for over a decade. It... More

We ate here as a group of 52 yet felt like personalize service throughout dinner. Family-run and their pride shows in the decor, service and most certainly the food which was plentiful and delicious. Pictures posted by others here show the quality of the food we enjoyed. We would most certainly dine here again on our own travel plans -... More

Wow! What a find. Not only was the food outstanding but the staff were amazing too. Complimentary tomato and bread dish to start. Recommendations on the olive oil and balsamic (interesting and informative rather than intrusive) and the most delicious tweal to finish them meal, also complimentary. A fabulous little fund for anyone who wants to escape the commercial food... More

Food is exquisite, wine list is excellent (San Leonardo fyi). Great family establishment and excellent service. This is not your typical Vatican Prati restaurant. This is not a tourist place. The food and wine are reminders of Tuscany. We live in the neighbourhood and drop by several times a month. If you miss this place, you missed an opportunity for... More

We had a fantastic evening, the food we had reminded us of a restaurant in Tuscany. The soup with beans and mussels was superb. The Servings were just the right size, not too big. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

We discovered this gem from our Consigliere at Hotel Forte - what a find! It was well worth the cab ride there and back (only about a 10 - 15 minute ride). It's a charming restaurant with a very welcoming ambiance. The owners were on hand when we walked in, and so very warm! I ordered the Amatriciana and my... More

A fabulous restaurant with delicious food and friendly hosts. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is very welcoming. We had a wonderful meal there. It was our favourite restaurant of the holiday, and is only a few minutes walk from the Vatican. Many thanks.
