Nothing but amazing. The food is a combination of creatively found flavors. We had the menu and it was so amazing that men in our group started crying and I asked to marry the chef. It’s really hard to describe how good the food is,...let’s say after we were finished I asked for a cigarette ( not even a smoker. ) and wanted to get it started again. Ambiente was beautiful, although central , very quiet and with gusto, service lovely. What a place to be…More

We had really high hopes for Perpetual so chose to do the tasting menu on our last night in Rome. Sadly we were left very disappointed. We selected the tasting menu with paired wines and we were surprised when our first course arrived almost immediately...(no canapés or treats from the chef - as we have had at every other tasting menu we have ever done, and we've done a lot). We were then disappointed when the table next to us received a platter of welcome canapés. We asked why we never got and were told it was because we never ordered a pre-dinner cocktail... Apparently opting for the more pricey option of tasting menu plus matching wines didn't merit the canapés...?! Seems bizarre. After we raised this, the waitress brought us some canapés, but by this point we had already had the first three or four courses of the tasting menu. All the dishes looked beautiful but we didn't find any to be overly exciting. Perpetual has some great reviews so perhaps we caught it on a bad night, but we were left very disappointed. For the same price, we would recommend trying the likes of Zia which was far more enjoyable.More

Highly recommend this restaurant located near the Colloseo and the Labicana public transport stop. Nestled on a side street in an unassuming building, this understated and beautifully modern restaurant delivers a fresh and appreciated take on local food with flair. The tasting menu was an...adventure from simple fare to complex flavors brought together expertly. So many special tastes from the perfectly cooked and presented simplicity of pasta with black truffle to the complex bite presented as a tomato but instead comprised of sweet flavors. The price is unbelievably reasonable for the expert quality of the meal. We have had other meals equal to this at 2-3 times the price. The wine pairings were spot on. But the highlight was the professional attentive wait staff who made us feel so welcome and elevated our enjoyment of the meal with their attentive service without being cloying. Every dish presented with loving detail and showcasing the chefs' work with their explanations. Highly, highly recommended. Cannot say enough good things.More

We had the 85€ tasting menu and cacio e pepe was properly done but tortello with shrimps less good while codfish and saltimbocca just normal dishes not yet 100% gourmet

To celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary we made a reservation at short notice online with no issues. We opted for the tasting menu (€85 pp) and the accompanying wine pairings (€60 pp) which we would highly recommend. The staff were extremely friendly and made you...feel at ease and fully explained each dish and the idea & thinking behind it. You can tell there is passion behind every dish. The food was sophisticated and extremely tasty, the staff even brought out a couple of extra courses for us to try. The presentation of the food was impressive and matched by its taste and use of flavours. We sat upstairs and the setting, ambience and atmosphere made for a very special evening.More

It is modern and contemporary food style. Service was good, fine and sofisticated food. Considering the price and Michelin indication, I had higher expectations. Desert was really great.

Very friendly and young staff- including those in the kitchen whom we saw afterwards. The mushroom starter was out of this world. We ate upstairs which was great.

If you are looking for a unique dining experience with first rate service this is the place. My daughter (15) and I had the 11 course tasting menu which was an experience. Each course was a unique interpretation of a classic Roman dish. The typical...menu looked fabulous as well and might not be as adventurous. We live in Vermont and do not have typical fine dining establishments so this was a special experience for my daughter. The staff made her feel comfortable and at ease. The food itself was thoughtful. It was not a typical delicious meal but rather made you think about the flavors and presentation. It was 11 courses of well presented and orchestrated experiences - some more pleasing than others.More

We loved the dining experience at Perpetual. The decoration of the place is superb and lighting is even better. The total area of the place is 750 square meters and they are serving for 30 diners only (do not forget to make reservation in advance)...with almost 15 employees aiming perfection. They speak very good English too. They are serving Italian cuisine with very modern touches. Presentations of the food are great and tastes are fantastic. Some of them are so different and modern that I may not even compare them with the traditional tastes. They have a tasting menu of 11 plates and also a variety of tastes in their a la cart menu. Normally, a table is expected to go for the tasting menu all together, but they allowed us to get one set of tasting and a couple items from the menu. (None of the items of the tasting menu is available for single order). On the pictures I have shared you will find pictures of all items of the tasting menu and additionally Coda and Sagliola. For a gourmet dining experience I will strongly recommend Perpetual.More

I could not recommend Perpetual more - everything about our meal tonight was perfect. The food was exquisite and the setting was lovely. What really stood out for us what the service - we had got the wrong night for our reservation (our mistake) and...the front of house staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Thank you for seating us Perpetual - we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.More

In a beautiful location, this new restaurant offers a lot for the gourmet: fine dinning, ingenious menu, rich selection of wines, mouth watering desserts, special atmosphere created by the special interior design, environmental music and very attentive service. Go for the lamb, for the dry...aged beef, but the pasta as well. Bread and pastries are home made so its a must. Of course, go there only in the payment day!!! Compliments to the chef and his team, especially the lady chef of the pastries department.More

Somewhere at the crossroad between tradition and fashion, in a corner of Rome where at times you can smell a scent of Tokyo, you’ll find this little gem. Very, very well executed dishes with umami explosions and wise contrasts in textures. Care for the raw...materials and a warm, never pretentious service. For me, this is among the best restaurants in Rome.More
