Possible to choose between various primi and secondi with potatoes or salad, cake and water or wine for 10€. The owners are really friendly and welcome you with that warm smile.

Family restaurant, great atmosphere, lovely real Italian food, cooked from start, no out of the bag pre-cooked food. Very reasonably priced. Lovely family run and very, very reasonable. Would not hesitate to recommend to any age group

Good place for the train travellers, because it's located only two blocks from Termini. Pizza was good (8 €) Grilled scampi would not recommend (15 €). Many locals having dinner. Really nice owners.

Great food and warm hospitality, like coming back to grandpa's house. Apart from reasonable price, the food was simple but soulful, warms your heart and fills you to the brim. Unlike most ristorante in Italy the food here is not too salty and yet tasty. Unlike most ristorante in Italy, this place is just oozing with friendliness and love. If... More

The food is very typical of Italy. Staff is family member and are quite nice people. Food is excellent, service great and price very affordable. You go there for the food and not for the look and feel of the restaurant.

Refered by my son for a good meal and a great price. This family owned and operated business offers a full Italian menue at avery attractive price. There are three generations of family managing your meal with a loyal friend in the front. Very good

I had the fixed menu €10 and ordered a carbonara and cotoletta alla Milanese. Pasta Al dente and thin cotoletta as it should be. Unpretentious and lovely service from this family run restaurant.

Friendly service and great value €10 menu. One daughter didn't enjoy the salmon spaghetti but the rest of us would definitely eat here again.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
