Took us in with out any reservations. Veal cooked in red wine was soft and moist, fish and chips for the kids were really delicious, however huge portions. In fact when we enquired earlier we're told one portion will be just right for one child. The potatoes served with the veal however were dry and powdery and you have to order... More

This restaurant was recommended by my AirBnB host as a good restaurant near the Vatican. Was expecting great Italian food, but all four of us at the table barely touched our food. We ordered the fried cheese, tuna balls, cabonara, chicken breast and two other forgettable pasta dishes. The antipasti were the saving grace, though the tuna balls were much... More

We stumbled across this fantastic little gem and probably the best place we ate in during our 4 nights in Rome! Classy modern decor, staff so friendly and extremely attentive, they care about their wine and food this was very clear! We had a main course of pasta and was amazing! The flavours were just outstanding. I had a sausage... More

Our hotel front desk clerk recommended this nearby restaurant for a reason! I had an Italian dictionary with me, but didn't need it, as our server described each menu item in detail in English. We had 3 antipasto (appetizer) items, and each of the 5 of us ordered a different primo course. EXCELLENT all around! The only item we didn't... More

When we showed up with our big group there was some confusion on our size. After chef figured out that she could handle the size we were, we were all seated. We were brought drinks right away and appetizers. All I can say is Chef handled the big group like a boss. She nailed it, and I would recommend this... More

We were staying at a nearby hotel so found the restaurant through Google reviews which were all good. Staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere very comfortable and relaxed - a great wine was recommended which we'd not tried before; the saltambucca was excellent. Two of us with a shared starter, two mains and one dessert, plus a bottle of... More

I had not done sufficient research to learn that probably ALL Italian restaurants would be serving traditional fish meals for this dinner offering. Food was good, but I am not a fish fan. The soup dish was delicious, made with a type of fish known as Skate - but by the time it came around, I was getting quite full... More

We had a great dinner here. Had first and second course, with a bottle of wine. Not the cheapest meal around but worth every penny and absolutely no hidden costs. The staff were friendly and attentive. After becoming a little disinterested with eating out in Rome after being ripped off, this place restored my good opinion. A great last night... More

My wife and I are foodies, we enjoy going to different countries to retry regional foods. This place, even though it's near the Vatican Museums, is not a tourist trap restaurant. They do offer a set menu but the items on it are the real deal. We especially enjoyed their Roman-style tripe, which is tender and almost buttery. Prices are... More
